Fabolous has a long road ahead of him.

According to TMZ, the "Ooh Yea" rapper, whose real name is John David Jackson, was indicted on four felony charges related to his alleged assault on his longtime girlfriend and children's mother Emily Bustamante. As previously reported, Fab was accused of repeatedly punching Emily in the face, ultimately knocking her front teeth out back in March. TMZ also released a video of a disturbing altercation, that reportedly went down three weeks after Emily's alleged assault, between the couple outside their New Jersey home on March 31. Fab can be heard threatening to kill Emily and her father while brandishing a pair of scissors.

A grand jury indicted Fab last week on one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening to kill and one count of possession of a weapon. Each charge carries a maximum five-year sentence if convicted. So that means, Fab faces a total of 20 years behind bars.

The 40-year-old rapper's lawyer, Alberto Ebanks, denied the accusations against his client, previously telling Billboard, "I’ve known Fab close to 20 years and believe he is incapable of engaging in the alleged conduct."

To note, Emily and Fabolous are still together. The couple, their two children, and Emily's daughter even went on a family vacation in August.
