Police in California are looking for two men who were allegedly involved in a brazen theft of a chainsaw from a hardware store in Fresno. The two men walked into RG Equipment, and one of the men went to speak with the store's co-owner Jeff Bennett while the other man walked over to an area of the store where chainsaws were being displayed.
While Bennet was distracted, the man took an Echo chainsaw and put the blade of it down his pants and used his jacket to conceal the handle. He walked out of the store with the $400 chainsaw and by the time Bennett realized what happened the men were gone.
Police say the two men drove away in a silver Dodge Ram extended cab pickup truck that is from the late 1990s. They say they have some leads but have not made any arrests in the case. Authorities have asked the public to contact them if they recognize either of the men.
