Even though there has never been a manned mission to Mars, back in 1984, the CIA found a different way to explore the red planet. According to documents declassified thanks to the Freedom of Information Act, the Central Intelligence Agency used a "remote viewer" to "see" what was on Mars one million years ago, and what they discovered is mind-blowing... if you can believe it.
Back in '84, the CIA used a psychic, known as a "remote viewer," to focus their mind on a location and a time and describe what they saw. The transcript of what that person witnessed on Mars a million years back was part of a large document dump. While the papers don't explain why the CIA wanted to see what Mars looked like a million years ago, they do show that the psychic saw civilization.
The "remote viewer," whose name is redacted, said:
โI kind of got an oblique view of a, ah, pyramid or pyramid form. Itโs very high, itโs kind of sitting in a large depressed area. Iโm tracking severe, severe clouds, more like dust storm[s]. Iโm looking at an after-effect of a major geologic problem. I just keep seeing very large people. They appear thin and tall, but theyโre very large, wearing some kind of clothes.โ
He or she then described structures they were seeing:
โDeep inside of a cavern, not of a cavern, more like [a] canyon. Iโm looking up, the sides of a steep wall that seem to go on forever. And thereโs like a structureโฆitโs like the wall of the canyon has been carved. Again, Iโm getting a very large structures [sic]โฆhuge sections of smooth stoneโฆitโs like a rabbit warren, corners of rooms, theyโre really huge. Perception is that the ceiling is very high, walls very wide. They have aโฆahโฆappears to be the very end of a very large road and thereโs a marker thing thatโs very large. Keep getting Washington Monument overlay, itโs like an obeliskโฆsee pyramidsโฆtheyโre huge. Itโs filtered from storms or somethingโฆTheyโre like shelters from storms. Different chambersโฆbut theyโre almost stripped of any kind of furnishings or anything, itโs like ahโฆstrictly [a] functional place for sleeping or thatโs not a good word, hibernations, some form, I canโt, I get real raw inputs, storms, savage storm, and sleeping through storms. Theyโre ancient people. Theyโre dying. Itโs past their time or age. Theyโre very philosophic about it. Theyโre just looking for a way to survive and they just canโt. Theyโreโฆahโฆevidently was aโฆa group or party of them that went to findโฆahโฆnew place to live. Itโs like Iโm getting all kinds of overwhelming input of the corruption of their environment. Itโs failing very rapidly and this group went somewhere, like a long way to find another place to live.โ
Perhaps this means that the ancient people somehow made their way to Earth.
The strangest part of it all - when the psychic was told what to think about and when, they weren't directly instructed to envision Mars one million years ago. Instead, they were given a sealed envelope that held a card that read, "The planet Mars. Time of interest approximately 1 million years B.C." Even though they had no idea what the card said, this is what the psychic saw after just holding that sealed envelope.
