Jack Harlow is closing out 2024 with a brand-new single that's got his fans hyped about what's to come in the New Year.
On Sunday, December 29, the Louisville native released the visuals for his new song, "Tranquility," exclusively on YouTube. The track, produced by Hollywood Cole, features a lengthy verse in which Harlow raps about his credibility in the rap game and how he plans to protect his peace in 2025.
"Need to be reintroduced to humility/I ain’t lookin for no hip hop credibility," he spits. "Give a f**k who feelin me, I’m feelin me/I’m really him, I’m really that remedy."
Elsewhere on the track, Harlow said he, "Lost a few m’s on the festival, and I can’t wait to do the second one." He may be referring to his inaugural Gazebo Music Festival, which went down in May. The eclectic festival based in his hometown featured performances from Vince Staples, SZA, Larry June, Majid Jordan, Ravyn Lenae and more on day one. However, the second day was canceled due to severe weather.
"Tranquility" is the second solo track Harlow released in 2024. It comes over a month after he delivered his jazzy track "Hello Miss Johnson." In the song produced by Askel Arvid, his brother Clay Harlow and Don Cannon, Harlow tries to impress his girl and her mom similar to the way OutKast did on "Ms. Jackson." In the official music video, Harlow went all out to prove how much he loved his girl. While he unloads a truckload of roses and attempts to deliver an ice sculpture to her doorstep, you can also see the girl's neighbors do some wild things in the background.
It seems like Jack Harlow is planning a major comeback in 2025. Watch the music video for "Tranquility" below.
