Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR have revealed the official cover art for their upcoming joint album.
On Tuesday, February 11, the Canadian artists debuted the album cover for their long-awaited collaborative project $OME $SEXY $ONGS 4 U. Drizzy and PND rock oversized fur coats while standing in a snowstorm with the Absolute Towers, a.k.a. the "Marilyn Monroe Towers," in the background. The towers are located in Mississauga, Ontario, which is PND's hometown. There's no word on the tracklist just yet, however, PND previously revealed that the project will have 15 songs. Drake also shared some details about the album during his recent tour stop in Australia.
“It’s called $OME $SEXY $ONGS 4 U, but it’s some turnt up songs for you on there too,” he said. “There’s some personal feelings on there for you. So hopefully whoever you’re with on Valentine’s Day, hopefully y’all can share that experience together.”
Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR have been working on the album for a minute. Although they've worked on numerous songs over the years, this will be their first official album together. They first teased it last year while PND was on his "Sorry I'm Outside Tour." Drake surprised fans on the tour's final night in Canada and teased the album's release date.
In addition to the joint LP, Drake also recently announced that he's working on his next solo album. He didn't give away too many details about it, but he said he plans to drop it "when the time is right." For now, look out for Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR's $OME $SEXY $ONGS 4 U dropping this Friday.
