Prosecutors showed the court footage of the shooting that claimed MO3's life during a hearing for Yella Beezy's bond reduction.

The Dallas rapper, born Markies Conway, appeared in a courtroom on Wednesday, March 26, to seek a reduction in his $2 million bail. Conway was arrested last week in connection to an alleged murder-for-hire plot. Authorities accused the 33-year-old of ordering a man named Kewon Dontrell White to kill MO3, born Melvin Noble, in November 2020. During the hearing, prosecutors played surveillance video taken from an 18-wheeler truck that showed White shooting and chasing after MO3 in the middle of the I-35.

In the footage, you can see White in a Black sedan try to get speed up ahead of MO3 before the rapper stops in front of the truck. MO3 hops out of the car and goes to the passenger side before White began to fire his gun at him. The victim ran away from White with both men running out of the frame of the camera. After the alleged fatal shooting occurred behind the truck, White is seen running back toward his vehicle and driving away. According to FOX 4, police collected 44 bullet casings from the scene.

Prosecutor Tommy Adams claimed there's witness who will testify that Yella Beezy was allegedly involved in a conversation about paying White for carrying out the murder. Adams also cited a $40,000 withdrawal the rapper made from his bank account several days after MO3 was killed. He also tried to establish Yella Beezy's net worth by highlighting the "That's On Me" rapper's bulletproof Denali, his mansion in Frisco, and the $870,000 he once had in his bank account. Despite the evidence of wealth, Yella Beezy's grandmother Alma Jean Alexander testified that the artist couldn't post the $2 million for bail.

"He might used to be [wealthy], but if he could make a $2 million bond, he'd be out," she said on the stand.

Judge Gracie Lewis decided to reduce Yella Beezy's bond down to $750,000 but also scolded him for not taking the case seriously. She also imposed conditions that prohibited him or anyone in his inner circle from contacting any witnesses or victims involved in the case. Yella Beezy is charged with capital murder while remuneration. Meanwhile, White was arrested and charged with murder a month after the shooting. He's currently serving a 9-year prison sentence.
