Ludacris turned an unfortunate situation into an incredible opportunity to give fans a memory that will last a lifetime.

The veteran artist was in Milwaukee over the weekend to headline the Tacos and Tequila Festival at Franklin Field. Before his scheduled set, the festival was forced to shut down due to severe weather. Luda couldn't leave the city without making some fans happy. He decided to hit up the 3rd St. Market Hall with a large, portable JBL speaker and a mic where he delivered a surprise set. In a video he posted to his Instagram, you can see him vibing with a lucky crowd as he performed his hit "Move B*tch."

"My Show In Milwaukee Got Cancelled Last Night Due To Rain & Thunderstorms But I DEFINITELY Wasn’t Leaving The City Without Touching The People," Luda wrote in his caption. "Shouts to @stevedastoner4149 for the #freeconcert inspiration 🎤 🔈"

Ludacris has made headlines for his performances over the past few months from his eye-popping aerial set at the Atlanta Falcons game to his nostalgic set at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards. If you missed out on his surprise performance, you can catch Ludacris again at his other shows later this summer. The rapper-actor plans to hit the stage in other states like Montana, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Arizona, Alaska, Missouri and Minnesota.

Ludacris is lining up more performances this year ahead of his forthcoming studio album. Last year, the Atlanta native teased his 10th album would arrive sometime in 2024. In an interview with BET, Luda shared the reason why he hadn't focused on making new music in over eight years.

"These movie projects like Fast & Furious and doing a lot of things like the 'Karma’s World' project that's on Netflix," he explained. "You know, doing other art forms where I’m creative, where I'm putting my heart into that, I want to make sure that I leave a legacy on this earth. So it was just taking a step back and getting hungry again, living some life. 'Cause when you put out music, in order for it to be organic and real, you gotta talk about what goes on in your life. So if I had like nine consistent albums, sometimes you gotta take a step back and live some life so that you have a lot more to talk about and that's what I was doing."

Look out for Ludacris' new album coming soon.
