The company, Thinx, makes underwear that absorbs your period. They tried to get creative with their marketing, but it didn't seem to go the way they expected it to. Their new commercial features a role reversal where boys and men actually get their periods. A boy goes to his father after getting his period for the first time. One man asks another man for a tampon. So...yeah...it is strange. Of course, a lot of people that saw it were extremely confused like, 'How do boys and men get their periods?' The ad also insinuated that period-shaming exists, which is news to me. I've never know that to be the case. Either way, a lot of people missed the point of the whole commercial that they are simply trying to sell underwear!
