A couple of high-profile pharmaceutical recalls are making waves today.

Drug maker Sanofi has recalled the popular heartburn medication Zantac and its generics, saying that it contains the possible carcinogen NDMA -- the same carcinogen found in grilled meats. The FDA is investigating but does not recommend that people already on the drug discontinue treatment. (USA Today)

Johnson and Johnson has recalled its baby powder because it has found trace amounts of asbestos in it. The company says it is acting out of an abundance of caution. J&J has faced criticism and lawsuits over the talc in baby powder, with accusations it causes ovarian cancer. (USA Today)
